The idea behind A/B testing is that you want to increase the number of visitors that perform a certain action in your website. These actions are known as conversion actions and are defined within a conversion goal when creating a test with Nelio A/B Testing. Some examples of conversion actions are:
- Visiting a certain page, post or custom post type within WordPress.
- Visiting an external page.
- Submitting a form.
- Clicking an element in a page.
- Purchasing a product.
Whenever a visitor performs one of these actions, we count it as a conversion.
Nelio A/B Testing offers the possibility to evaluate one or more goals, and, for each of them, define the actions that should be taken to fulfill that goal. When the test is running (or once it is finished), you can evaluate the performance of each variant of your web under test with respect to every single goal.
